Testing, testing, where do all the pictures go?

I’ve been searching for a new gallery plugin that will create a cool layout instead of just lining the photos up in rows and columns. I’m trying to stay away from NexGen because of it’s complexity.  I’m looking for something a non-technical person can use.

This one is the best I’ve found so far.  It’s very simple because it uses the default WordPress gallery to upload and handle the pictures, then puts them into a slideshow type format instead of a flat layout.  I’ve also installed a Lightbox feature to handle the popups when you click the large pic.  That is more problematic since it requires the pictures to be sized correctly.

I’m not through searching yet.  I’d like to have something more flexible.  This one has no user controls for the gallery beyond the normal WordPress media options.  If you are using something that allows for frames, shadowing, and background choices, let me know in the comments below.
